Customer Reviews

"We were looking for a late afternoon bite and a pint. Chose this based on being about to sit on the patio on a lovely fall day overlooking the harbor and there was parking space. The on tap hard cider was excellent as was the Two-Hearted Ale. We recommend the Pesto Grilled Cheese, the French Onion Grilled Cheese, and the Mighty Mac burger. The cheese curds were good as was the lasagna soup (trust me here). We love that there is an actual soup and salad bar. Lots of Tigers fan fans on site to watch the game."

"This was a good place to eat after a day of exploring Pictures Rocks National Lakeshore. They had a good guitar player. I ordered the salad bar which was good and included a choice of soups. The cheese bread sticks were delicious. The bell was a nice fish meal. Service was friendly and efficient"

"We've been here a couple times. The food is good. Whitefish is meant to be fried not broiled. I prefer home fries over the skinny ones. The curds were okay. The guacamole was delicious but perhaps a little too much onion. Good selection of drinks. Nice outside seating. They were short servers the evening we went, so the ones there were working hard to keep up. The manager was helping. We always get whitefish because we're in the UP, but they burgers and pizza that looked good. Lots of family. Bottom line: well worth a stop."

"Awesome food and service. Perch basket was great. Great spot for snowmobilers and plenty of parking out back. Nice place to warm up and enjoy some good food at a reasonable price."

- Alex

"I tried the Bell. It's half perch and half whitefish. Both were very fresh and delicious. My wife got the whitefish tacos. She says it's the best meal she's had on this trip! Will definitely stop by again next time we're in town!"

"Jen was an exceptional server . She was knowledgeable of the menu when we had a few questions . The Lake Perch was fabulous $22 for a little slaw , 4 good size filets and fries. The perch was fresh and breaded lightly. The fries were frozen and not that great but not bad either . The slaw was above average but a very small serving . Another person ordered the tenders and they are a frozen type, they were decent but nothing to talk about . The atmosphere is welcoming and a beauty. Outdoor seating with a pleasant lake view . We will be back !"

- Kevin B.

"Five out of five stars all around- hands down yummiest White Fish Platter around. And that is saying a lot in White Fish Country. Fish was lightly battered, crispy, good sized pieces. Relaxed atmosphere- beautiful view of Lake Superior. Outside dinning and inside is tables, high tops, bar seating. Sports TVs Salad bar. Service was friendly and attentive. Plenty of free parking available. Clean restroom. Near the beach - enjoy a walk in the beach- this beach is filled with beautiful rocks."
